Varon Bonicos

Varon Bonicos (born 18 May 1974) is a British director, producer, and screenwriter and is the son of late film editor Douglas Bonicos.
Varon Bonicos was born in United Kingdom, His film career started working for film editor Pamela Power (''The Hunger'', ''Chill Factor'') at London's Soho post production company The Film Editors. Bonicos directed the first ever ITN ITV news commercial and also conceived first British Airways In flight current affairs programming leading Bonicos to his early experimental art installations notably for The Arts Council of Great Britain and the Design Museum in London.

Bonicos worked as an editor for several years before working on TV documentaries for Royal Dutch Shell (Oil Logic), ITN and Sky television including Elizabeth II speech from the throne and Black Rod leading to directing music videos for Jamaican dance hall musician Shabba Ranks and British boy band Brother Beyond before directing Tyra Banks swimsuit commercial for Turkish designer Zeki Triko.
TV documentary ''Capital City'' () was commissioned by Russian business man Vladislav Doronin . In 2006 Bonicos met media mogul Ben Silverman and teaming up with his Los Angeles-based production company Reveille Productions, creating prime time TV series in association with Robert Redford and The Sundance Channel of the US prime time Television Series ''(House of Boateng )''.
